Brewery Art Walk 2018 Part 3 Fashion Art
This is not an exclusive collection of the fashion at the art walk, but it is a collection of the clothing art I witnessed. First I want to start with Teale Hatheway architectural artist. Her art reflects the architectural world using mixed media. She has expanded her work from paintings to a line of wall paper, textiles and home decor.
Todd Westover is inspired by flowers and the culture of the 1950s and 1960s. He to has branched from the canvas onto cloth.
Jane Szabo uses fashion to create photographic fine art. She explores self and identity merging fabrications and conceptual photography. In essence her photographs explore how fashion impacts how a subject is interpreted and identified. The clothes define the person not a face.
There are also at the Brewery artists who do nothing but make fashion. As an example, there is the very urban Andrea MNKR brand by Matt Fellows. In addition there is the Chacacoco Creations fashion handmade inspired by nature. Also the flowing accessories of Dreamluxe
and the costuming of Francine LeCoultre.
